The village of Calabardina, now a favourite destination for holidays and long weekends, is surrounded by open countryside. It is free from the everyday hustle and bustle of modern life yet within easy travelling distance of many places of interest, thus offering a variety of enjoyable possibilities for our guests. The fishing port of Águilas (population 35,000) is situated approx 6 km away on the south-west coast of the province of Murcia, close to the border with Almeria.

The Calabardina beach is approximately 5 minutes walk from the hotel; a little further, although still within walking distance, are other lesser known beaches.

Nearest town to Calabardina (approx 15 mins by car); very popular with visitors, especially in summer, for its beautiful beaches. Also at Carnival which was declared to be of ‘National tourist Interest’ in 1997. Apart from the stunning parades, personalities, unknown in other places, such as the Mussona, Doña Cuaresma and Don Carnal, feature prominently in the celebrations and the ‘Battle of the Eggs’ also sets it apart as does the official Carnival drink know as ‘Cuerva’ a winter version of sangria.
